How It Works

Structure and Duration
- Participants: 32 players.
- Location: Played across various golf courses in Johannesburg.
- Duration: 10 months, consisting of 10 rounds.

Event Format and Prizes
- Event Winners: Each event has an overall winner who receives R1000 in cash.
- Special Contests:
  - Two Closest to the Pins: Winners receive R500 pro shop vouchers each.
  - One Longest Drive: Winner receives a R500 pro shop voucher.

Scoring and Leaderboard
- Points System: Players earn points for the overall leaderboard in each event.
- Points Allocation: Only the top 10 players in each event are awarded points.
- Point Distribution:
  - 1st Place: 25 points
  - 2nd Place: 18 points
  - 3rd to 10th Places: Decreasing points from 15 to 1.

Season-End Awards
- Overall Winner: R6500 cash prize.
- Second Place: R3000 cash prize.
- Third Place: R1000 cash prize.

Tiebreakers (Count Out)
- For 1st Place Ties:
  - Ties are separated by the best score over the final nine holes. These are defined by the final holes on the standard scorecard, not the final nine holes a player may have completed
  - If the best score for the last nine holes does not separate out a winner, then the final six holes are used
  - If that still fails to provide a definitive outcome, the final three holes.
  - If a tie still persists then the score on the final hole is used.
  - If a tie still persists then the score on stroke 1 will be compared and so on until a winner is decided
  - If a tie still persists then the position will be shared
- Other Positions: Players tied for other positions receive the same points.

Points Calculation
- Nett Score Basis: Points based on individual players' nett scores (gross score minus handicap).
